The Perfect Day
All photographers have a dream wedding. It's something we've been working towards and feel so much passion for. For me, this was my dream wedding. There's something special about having a small number of your closest friends and family come together at your family member's lakehouse to celebrate your wedding. Emily and David planned the perfect day.
The details say it all.
I clicked with Emily and David the moment we met. We planned their adorable engagement session at a park about an hour away from me (where I've never been before). Turns out the park was closed for the winter and I had to come up with a different plan. I found this cute area across the street with lots of trees and the snow began falling. I didn't plan for snow but wow, I'm glad it happened.
Their ceremony took place on the water. Their aisle was lined with gorgeous rugs leading the way. All of their loved ones stood beside the rugs, finally watching their two favorite people get married.
Their portraits are so absolute cutest and some of my favorites to date. I always suggest doing your portraits away from your wedding but in this case, we were surrounded by everyone. All of their guests were cool af so that's an exception to my suggestion.
