Koi fish, cinnamon rolls, and being surrounded by love
When I first started documenting with Super 8, I was beyond nervous. I ordered a camera that I knew nothing about, found a developer, and ran with it. I was second shooting the most stunning wedding at Planterra with my friend Tiffany and she let me bring my Super 8 camera with me. Who would've thought that one little video would have started it all for me?
I'm so grateful to have this experience and this video. I had almost no clue what I was doing and the only way to really learn Super 8 is to just do it (over and over and over and over). When I received this film back, I cried the happiest tears. Is it perfect? Yes and no but mostly no. This film taught me so much about using Super 8 and capturing video instead of just photos. I fell in love and haven't turned back.
